About

Jasmine Holmes is an experienced speech pathologist of 15 years, with a special interest in working with autistic children. She has completed university level post graduate accreditation and is a suitably qualified diagnostician. Jasmine has spent years within the specialised government autism assessment team, and now continues to assess children on their behalf as a private practitioner.

Jasmine strives to create a safe and supportive space where each child feels valued and understood. Individual preferences and strengths are highlighted throughout the assessment process and when required, areas for support are identified.

Through years of experience, Jasmine has honed her skills in assessing and understanding the social communication patterns and common preferences of children with autism and how these differ to neurotypical development. Jasmine is dedicated to staying updated on the latest research in the field, ensuring that assessments are comprehensive and in line with the DSM-5TR criteria. She is a member of Speech Pathology Australia and the Western Australian Autism Diagnostician’s Forum.
